HumansHere gives you control over how visible you are, how you interact with others, and how you see measurements in the app.
Pause
Pausing your account hides you from new people while letting you keep chatting with existing matches and writing chapters.
To pause: Profile Icon → Gear Icon (Settings) → toggle Pause ON.
To unpause: toggle Pause OFF, or tap Unpause Profile on your Discover screen.
Pausing does not pause your Taken membership. Likes you sent before pausing will still be delivered and can result in matche
Show Online Status
This feature shows an approximate idea of when a member was last active. You may see “Active Now” next to a profile photo.
To adjust: Profile Icon → Gear Icon → toggle Show Online Status ON (display) or OFF (hide).
If you hide your status, you can't see others' either. Matches won't see your status; it's only visible in the For You feed.
Private Mode
Private Mode keeps your profile private until you choose to show interest. Only the people you've liked will see you.
To turn on/off: Profile Icon → Gear Icon → toggle Private Mode ON or OFF.
While Private Mode is on, people you haven't liked won't see you at all.
Measurements — Display Setting
You can choose how you want to see measurement units in the app, for both height and distance.
1. Tap your Profile Icon.
2. Tap the Gear Icon (Settings).
3. Under Language and Region, tap Measurement Units.
4. Select your preferred units: Height (Feet or Centimeters), Distance (Miles or Kilometers).
