What “End Match” Means
Closing the Book permanently block a match and the conversation.
Once closed, you cannot message that person again.
For privacy and respect, we cannot restore closed matches.
Why It Matters
It’s about intentionality: every match you keep open should feel meaningful.
It keeps your Matches list fresh and relevant, helping you focus on connections that truly align.
How to End the Match
From your Matches tab, slide left on the chat you want to end.
Tap the X icon.
Select a reason for unmatching.
Tap Confirm to finalize.
Making Goodbyes Kinder
Remember, there’s a real person on the other side. Even though they won’t be notified why, choosing a reason thoughtfully helps improve the community experience.
Sometimes, it’s less about them and more about timing, readiness, or personal preference; and that’s okay.
