Selfie Verification adds an extra layer of trust to HumansHere. It’s a simple, optional process that helps keep our community real and safe by confirming you’re truly you.

Why Verification Matters

Safety is at the heart of HumansHere. Verified profiles help reduce catfishing and make it easier for people to connect with confidence. When others see that blue checkmark, they know your profile has been verified through a quick video selfie.

What the Verification Badge Means

• Gray Check Mark: Your profile isn’t verified yet.

• Blue Check Mark: Your profile has been successfully verified and your badge is visible on your Profile, For You, Likes You, and Chats screens.

How to Start the Selfie Verification Process

1. Tap your Profile Icon on the far right of the navigation bar.

2. Under Profile Management, tap Selfie Verification.

3. Review the on-screen Verification Guidelines before you begin:

   1. Have at least one clear, front-facing photo of yourself on your profile.

   2. Make sure your photo is unfiltered and only shows you.

   3. Avoid sunglasses or anything that hides your face.

   4. Good lighting helps the process go smoothly.

4. Tap Continue and allow camera access.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions for the Liveness Detection (blink, smile, move your head slightly).

6. Review and submit your selfie.

Verification results will appear shortly after.

You can retry up to 3 times a day if verification doesn’t go through the first time.

When Verification Might Be Lost

If you change or delete the photo that was used for verification, your badge will be removed automatically.

You can reverify anytime by completing the process again.

Troubleshooting and Support

If you’ve followed all guidelines and your selfie still isn’t verifying, you can contact HumansHere Support through the in-app Help Form. Our team will guide you through the next steps.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy comes first.

Facial data is used only for verification and deleted within 24 hours after the process is complete.

We do not store or share your biometric data beyond our verification provider, who handles it securely.
